This is the second pressing. The first pressing is 'lost'. It's a long story.

It was the first time ever 'The Inevitable' would be available on vinyl. It was a big deal for me.

Last year I made the album available to order through Qrates, a full service vinyl company (pre-order, press and fulfil orders). Ive used them before and they were always great.

Then Qrates went bust, or something. They stopped pressing and delivering anything mid last year, not telling anyone and generally not giving any good reason if you get an answer at all. Google 'What's Going on with Qrates?" and see the ugly mess.

So I decided to get it pressed elsewhere, somewhere reliable.

And here it is!

Nothing fancy, just a really great sounding pressing on black vinyl, remastered for vinyl from the original mixes on DAT tapes (remember them?)

Debut album from All India Radio aka Martin Kennedy. The album received some very favourable press in Australia and overseas which eventually brought it to the attention of the late great John Peel on his BBC radio who played it on his legendary show a number of times. This then seemed to springboard out into European radio and translated into CD sales.

This is brilliant. I've bought all of The Church's, Steve Kilbey's and the Kilbey/Kennedy albums over the years and this ranks up there with the best of them.
