Mark Hi Martin, I just wanted to say thanks for the quick delivery on this CD and the brilliant extras. It's very much appreciated. I have just received the Observers CD as well, so plenty of great music to dig into. Thanks.

Dotsun Moon All India Radio brings melodies and not to lovey atmospheric compositions that are relaxing and tender. Fans of Harold Budd, Brian Eno and others will find something in the catalogue to please the ears.

Anthony Childs "Twisted Metal Mind 3" from Desert Tapes 1984-1994 is an early favorite. Love the tremolo'd guitar and the background sound waves. Doesn't at all recall the popular console game Twisted Metal but takes you on pretty much a completely opposite mood trip (that game was fun though!).

about

These are my lo-fi ‘bedroom’ tape recordings from 1984-1994. Much of this material informed my later music in All India Radio.

Most of these songs were originally recorded on cassette tapes or reel to reel tapes at home or at Philip Institute under the eye of my teacher (and fringe movie director) Philip Brophy. I have restored them where possible but many of the blemishes remain audible.
